Rainbow Warrior: A Forgotten History

Lies, spies, and political secrets…

40 years ago, two bombs went off in Auckland's harbour. The terror attack and the subsequent fallout changed New Zealand forever. The death of Fernando Pereira on board the ship turned an act of sabotage into a tragedy. Rainbow Warrior: A Forgotten History re-examines the events leading up to the bombing and the consequences, exploring the secret reasons behind France’s decision to attack the Warrior, and asking whether, four decades later, the world has learned anything about the use of nuclear weapons.
